Dr Chris Walsh graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1994. He attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2001.
Chris whilst working for 11 years as a GP in Tasmania fostered an interest in procedural medicine in the general practice setting, and in particular the diagnoses and management of skin cancer.
During that time, and to the present day, Chris has also worked as a surgical assistant to Mr Simon Thomson in plastic and reconstructive surgery. During that time he has developed surgical skills, in conjunction with Simon Thomson, to manage skin lesions in an outpatient setting.
